I’m now a certified airplane mechanic and a pilot, and it started with the amazing Aviation Maintenance program. With my skillset, I can pick the job I want in my field because graduates like me are in demand. You might say, with a wrench and determination, I opened the doors to Jefferson, and Jefferson opened doors for me. Treyvon Criminal Justice I knew I wanted to help people and Jefferson helped me find the field that was right for me. I’m a Criminal Justice major at the University of Louisville now, and am planning for a career in Law Enforcement. I’m grateful that I’m now a Jefferson alum, pursing my dreams…with no college debt. Sara Work and Learn Because of the support I received through Work and Learn, I now have hope. People are backing me every step of the way. I have a job that allows me to provide for my children while I work on my degree. Now, I will be able to make a better life for my family. Yuriel International Student I didn’t speak English when I came to Jefferson, but my teachers pushed me to learn so that I could achieve my goals.
